Matthew Bennett FCA

Overview

Matthew has been a principal of the firm since 2006. He graduated from Manchester in 1999 with a degree in Management Sciences. Matthew started his accountancy career in a mid-tier firm before joining Coveney Nicholls in 2001 where he concluded his training to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. He has worked across all areas of the firm as the business has grown, providing continuity for key client relationships. Operationally he is currently responsible for training, personnel development and the Human Resource function as well as recently taking-on the role of managing partner.

FCA Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales – 2005.

Matthew maintains a wide portfolio of clients, broadly dividing his time equally between the Healthcare specialism and corporate clients. His corporate portfolio covers a variety of industries including IT, professional services, retail, import/export.

SME compliance covering statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax and tax planning  

Location
Matthew covers all three locations of the firm. 

Outside interests
Matthew has a many interests and hobbies. Living in a rural location in the South of England much of his time outside of work is spent walking and cycling with his wife. Food is an important part of his life and he enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family whenever he has the opportunity. He is an avid reader and has an interest in history, science & technology and personal development.
