Our office of accountants in Reigate, Surrey was established over 25 years ago. The business has been going longer, originally starting out as Carter Nicholls in Croydon before a brief spell in Westerham and then Reigate.
Founding partners John Mabey and Jeff Kelly had both previously worked at Price Waterhouse in their Redhill office. This made the Reigate location ideal for their contacts in the area, and of course the excellent transport links North, East, West and South.
The Reigate office serves both older clients from the original business and newer clients from both our network and from 3 practice acquisitions. These acquisitions included Peter Coveney’s practice, hence the name change from Carter Nicholls to Coveney Nicholls to strengthen the connections.
Our portfolio of clients in Reigate and the Surrey area is spread across a range of business sectors, but they are essentially all owner-managed businesses. Some of these sectors include telecoms, furniture manufacturing, fuel additives and equine equipment, amongst others.
We also acquired a strong portfolio of medical clients from both Deloittes in Crawley and Sue Beaton, giving us a significant presence in the South East as Specialist Medical Accountants. Reigate continues in a similar vein today, now with Matthew Bennett as the Managing Partner.
